Event Sales was established in 1985 to serve the needs of retailers and manufacturers wishing to dispose of customer returns, surplus, closeouts, in-store damaged and other types of distressed inventories.


Event Sales has worked for twenty years under contract for Hallmark in selling their discontinued and closeout product.

Product Type

  • Product may consist of gift items, party goods, gift wrap and gift bags, stationery, novelty and other categories of Hallmark discontinued product.
  • Inventories are available and assortments of product can be created. No less than case packs of any item may be ordered.
  • All product is first quality.


  • None of the product may be sold to accounts currently selling Hallmark's regular product lines.
  • There can be no advertising involving the Hallmark name.
  • Some product may require delabeling.
  • All product is subject to prior sale.

How Sold

  • Product is sold F.O.B. Liberty, KS or Enfield, CT.
  • Ability to view and select from an inventory of available product.
  • Product sold as a percentage of the retail price.
  • Call for current availability and pricing.


  • All sales are final.
  • Credit may be available to qualified accounts.
  • Minimum order is $2,000.
